C3LINA: TRANSCENDING SOUND, TIME & SPACE

Some artists follow the rules. Others break them. And then there’s C3LINA—who warps reality entirely. From throwing her own raves in Saigon to touring the world, her journey into DJing was less a decision and more an inevitability. Now, she’s diving into her debut EP, deconstructing vinahouse and turning chaos into alchemy. Expect the unexpected.

Hiii, introduce yourself & what have you been up to lately?

C3LINA: Hiii, I’m C3LINA. Lately, I’ve been learning new skills and doing a lot of healing. It’s boring, but I’m focused on evolving.

Do you remember deciding to become a DJ? What led to it?

C3LINA: I don’t think it was a conscious decision. I just loved raves. When I moved to Saigon in 2017, there weren’t parties playing my kind of music, so I started throwing my own. By default, I became the DJ, and one thing led to another.

How would you describe your sound?

C3LINA: I’m bad at labels, but people say it’s ethereal, transcendental, like a rollercoaster.

Describe yourself in 1 to 3 memes.

What was playing Boiler Room Saigon like? And being called a 'trance angel'?

C3LINA: Incredible to represent Saigon at that moment. The ‘trance angel’ thing is funny—I love trance, but I don’t wake up feeling like an angel.

Favorite venue you’ve played?

C3LINA: Joyland Festival, Bali. The stage was on the beach—I jumped into the ocean before my set.

Touring with Fitness—what was that like?

C3LINA: Amazing. My first time touring with someone, which made it 10x more fun. Lots of good meals, cute coffee shops, and we split the workload. Ryan is one of my best friends.

Dream B2B, dead or alive?

C3LINA: David Bowie.

Your first EP drops in 2025. What themes and sounds are you exploring?

C3LINA: Deconstructed vinahouse—Vietnamese EDM, super cringe but also iconic. The theme is alchemy—turning emotional ammo into gold.

What does your natal chart say about you?

C3LINA: Mostly ideas and spirituality. Aquarius sun & Mercury cazimi (wizard energy), Pisces moon (dreamy vibes), and intense Venus & Mars placements.

You’re a visual artist & model too. How would you describe your aesthetic?

C3LINA: A dialogue between me and my environment. I absorb a lot online but always stay true to myself.

Last meal?

C3LINA: Edamame sticky rice I made. And an apple.

What legacy do you want to leave?

C3LINA: I want to invent something that changes lives.
